Keegan is a junior resource gold Exploration Company with an excellent management team, which possesses the depth and talent to be able to finance, market and discover valuable gold resources. Keegan is currently earning a 90% interest in two exceptional gold properties, the Asumura Project and the Esaase Project, located in Ghana, West Africa

Ghana Focus
In Ghana, Keegan has achieved notable success on both its Asumura and Esaase gold properties. The Asumura property has had an initial phase of work including drilling and the Esaase property has had extensive sampling, trenching and its initial core drilling program is in progress. The very encouraging results that have come from both properties indicate potential for world class gold deposits on each property.

Management
Keegan’s geological team is led by Dr. Dan McCoy, formerly with Placer Dome USA. Mr. McCoy has over 22 years of experience in Nevada, Alaska and Canada exploring for the most prominent types of gold deposits, including Carlin-type intrusion-related, epithermal and greenstone systems. Dr. McCoy’s geological team is complimented by Richard Haslinger, a well respected geological engineer with over 20 years experience and Robert McLeod, a well respected exploration
geologist with over 12 years experience.

Esaase property
– Summary & highlights of work to date.

The Esaase property is located in Ghana, West Africa 13km NW of the 3 million ounce Obotan deposit previously mined by Resolute Mining. Gold at Esaase was initially discovered by artisanal miners.

Highlights from Keegans program:
Identification of disseminated sediment hosted mineralization with open pit potential
Discovery of the 1500 meter long Main Zone where current trenching and drilling has identified bedrock indications for multi million ounce deposits.
Indications include:
85 meters of 2.07g/t gold in core
12 meters of 9.76 g/t gold in core
Every trench assayed greater than one g/t Au from with widths of 20-155 m
Extension of the of fault structure on the main zone by geophysics and soils reveals an 8km long strike mineralized strike length
Property is up to 10 km long by 5 km wide with several other new targets for significant gold mineralization.

Asumura property
– Summary & highlights of work to date.

The Asumura property is ideally located on a major regional scale belt bounding fault system. Keegan has completed extensive geochemical sampling, geophysics as well as an initial reconnaissance drill program, which revealed similar potential for one of these major multi million ounce

Highlights from Keegans program: structures.
Identification of disseminated gold mineralization with open pit potential
Discovery of the Bia Fault Target Area
Extends at least 70 km to the NE where it hosts Newmont’s 22 M oz Ahafo deposits
Contains prospective Induced Polarization anomalies
Discovery of the Mangoase Target Area:
Extends at least 70 km to the NNE onto Newmont ground
Drill Intercepts of 25.5m @ 0.72g/t (reverse circulation) and 10m @ 1.68 g/t (core)
Open to both the northeast and southwest

2007 Plans for Keegan Resources
In 2007 Keegan plans to delineate a resource at Esaase and to also drill test along strike of the entire 12 km of mineralized structures on the property. Keegan will also be drill testing the Bia and Mangoase Target Areas at its Asumura Property.

The company’s management has worked on some of the larger successes seen in the last 25 years in the mining business; management is qualified and hungry to discover and achieve another major success. Keegan’s anti-dilutive share structure has and will in the future benefit shareholders as it achieves its goal of making major gold discoveries.
