Gold At Daily Lows in Late-Morning Dealings
(Kitco News) - Gold prices are trading moderately down and near their session lows in late-morning action Tuesday. The rallying U.S. dollar index, which hit a 5.5-month high today, is a bearish outside-market force working against the precious metals on this day. U.S. stock indexes that have just hit record highs are also limiting buying interest in the competing asset class, precious metals. December gold was last down $7.00 an ounce at $1,274.70.
