Gold Prices Extend Early Gains, At New Daily Highs
(Kitco News) - Gold prices are trading moderately up and near their session highs in late-morning action Tuesday. The yellow metal has advanced as the U.S. dollar index has weakened and is trading near its daily low. Meantime, the U.S. stock indexes have also come down from their daily highs, which is mildly supportive for the safe-haven gold and silver markets. June gold was last up $7.40 an ounce at $1331.30.
