(Kitco News) - Friday is jobs day, not only are investors on edge but the Fed may be forced to actually do something. If the jobs number is big, it would possibly force the Fed to hike or at least admit they have no idea what to do.
This action is causing a great deal of grief for gold investors. The possibility of a hike versus the Fed doing the usual has gold working lower but buyers are waiting to pour in. Although equities are at new highs, they are on smoke and mirrors ready to tumble.
Friday could be a historic day and amazingly it all comes to how good the jobs number is. Look for big movement in gold, bonds and the dollar after the number is released. This could be exciting, stay tuned!
