Timmins Gold Corp. (TSX: TMM, NYSE MKT: TGD), which is seeking approval for a name change to Alio Gold Inc. at an upcoming shareholders meeting, has announced a new management team. As part of the transition, Arturo Bonillas will step down as president but will continue as an advisor to the new team to ensure continuity of permitting and community-relations activities, the company says. Colette Rustad has been appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer. Other new officials include Jose Hector Figueroa, vice president of operations; Paul Hosford, vice president of project development; Jason Gregg, executive vice president of human resources; Miguel Soto, vice president of exploration; and Miguel Bonilla, who was formerly vice president of finance and administration in Mexico and will undertake new responsibilities as country manager for Mexico. "I am excited by the opportunity to lead such an accomplished group of experienced mining professionals focused on creating shareholder value from our pipeline of assets in Mexico,” says Greg McCunn, chief executive officer.
