Star Wars fans, start saving — Japan will begin selling 24 karat gold Darth Vader mask for a hefty price tag of $1.4 million.

The mask is quite heavy, weighing a total of 33 pounds. But, to the joy of true Star Wars followers, it is an exact replica of the science fiction’s most famous villain.

The new mask has been commissioned to mark the 40th anniversary of the release of the sci-fi space saga.

The mask will be available for purchase on May 4 at the Jeweler Ginza Tanaka in Tokyo.

May 4 is a significant date for all the Star Wars fans across the globe. It marks George Lucas's creation of the extremely successful movie series. The date was picked based on a pun on the movies’ catchphrase “May the Force be with you” — as “May the Fourth be with you.”

If the mask’s price tag is out of reach for you, the store will also be selling commemorative Star Wars gold coins, costing anywhere between $1,260 and $10,800, according to media reports.

This is not the first unique gold item Ginza Tanaka has put up for sale. In the past, the jewelers became famous for the sale of $1.8 million solid gold Christmas tree, and $4.5 million soccer star Lionel Messi’s left foot.
