TABLE-Russia budget deficit in 2017 at 1.4 pct/GDP - FinMin

MOSCOW, Jan 19 (Reuters) - Russia ran a budget deficit of 1.34 trillion roubles ($23.70 billion), or 1.4 percent of gross domestic product, in 2017, the Finance Ministry said on Friday, citing preliminary data.

The deficit was smaller than expected thanks to higher oil prices in the second half of the year. RUSSIA'S BUDGET (in trillion roubles):
