Thai economic fundamentals can withstand global volatility -c.bank chief

BANGKOK, Feb 22 (Reuters) - Thailand's economic fundamentals remain strong and can withstand volatility in capital movements, Bank of Thailand Governor Veerathai Santiprabhob said on Thursday.

"The Thai economy is strong and can withstand global volatility to some extent," Veerathai told a business seminar.

"We have low foreign debt, very good foreign currency liquidity, high foreign reserves and a strong banking system."
