Equinox: First Gold Pour Expected At Aurizona By Year-End

Equinox Gold Corp. (TSXV: EQX) says its Aurizona  project in Brazil is on schedule to achieve a gold pour by the end of 2018, with average annual production projected at 136,000 ounces. As of the end of the second quarter, the overall project was 60% completed and plant construction 51% completed. The $146 million project is fully funded, the company reports. During the second quarter, the company also announced results of a prefeasibility study for Castle Mountain in California, showing a 16-year mine life and 3.6 million ounces of gold reserves.

Osisko Gold Royalties Reports 2Q Adjusted Profit

Osisko Gold Royalties Ltd (TSX, NYSE: OR) reports adjusted earnings in the second quarter of $3.7 million, or 2 cents per share, compared to $7.1 million, or 7 cents, in the same period a year ago. The company says it earned 20,506 gold-equivalent ounces, which was in line with 2018 annual guidance of 77,500 to 82,500.
