Gold Loses Early Gains On Upbeat Trader/Investor Attitudes
(Kitco News) - Gold prices are trading near steady levels in late-morning U.S. dealings Tuesday, and have lost their modest overnight gains. With U.S. stock indexes hitting record highs, investor and trader optimism is running high, and that's putting some downside price pressure on the safe-haven metals markets. December gold was last up $0.40 at $1,216.40.
