Gold Loses Steam As U.S. Dollar Index Erases Losses
(Kitco News) - Gold prices in late-morning U.S. trading have lost most of their good early gains. Both gold and silver are losing steam as the U.S. dollar index has moved up from its daily low and is trading above unchanged and near its session high. December gold was last up $2.00 an ounce at $1,203.20.
