Gold Up, At Daily Highs, In Late-Session Trading
(Kitco News) - Gold prices are moderately up and trading at their session highs in early-afternoon U.S. trading, and just before the futures markets closes. Some perceived bargain hunting, a weaker U.S. stock market today, and some chart-based buying are all working to lift the yellow metal. April gold futures are close to closing at a technically bullish weekly high close in the waning minutes of futures trading, and still could do so. April gold was last up $5.00 an ounce at $1,319.20.
