Moya Greene Leaves Rio Tinto Board

Kitco News

Citing too great a time commitment, Moya Greene stepped down from Rio Tinto's board.

The Australia mining giant announced the departure today. Greene had been with Rio Tinto since September 2018.

"I have enjoyed my time on the Rio Tinto board but the time commitment has proven more considerable than I had expected and I have taken the difficult decision to step down from Rio in order to re-focus on my other roles," said Greene in a statement.

Greene is a Canadian national and was previously chief executive of the Royal Mail plc from 2010 to 2018.
