U.S. money market assets increased in latest week: iMoneyNet
NEW YORK, (Reuters) - U.S. money market fund assets increased by $41.12 billion to $3.234 trillion in the week ended July 9, the Money Fund Report said on Wednesday.
Taxable money market fund assets increased by $39.58 billion to $3.095 trillion, while tax-free assets increased by $1.54 billion to $139.40 billion, according to the report, published by iMoneyNet.
The iMoneyNet Money Fund Average 7-Day Simple Yield for All Taxable money-market funds increased to 2.02 percent from 2.00 percent last week; the Taxable WAM was unchanged at 29 days. The iMoneyNet Money Fund Average 7-Day Simple Yield for All Tax-Free and Municipal money-market funds fell to 1.15 percent from 1.43 percent last week. The Tax-Free WAM shortened by one day to 28 days.
