Barkerville Jumps On Expanded Mineralization

Kitco News

British Columbia junior Barkerville Gold (CVE:BGM) was up 9% to 41 cents a share (Canadian) after announcing expanded mineralization at depth highlighting a 45.94 g/t gold drill result over 5.2 meters on Island Mountain.

Barkerville, which has the largest drilling program in B.C. this season, says it has drilled a total of 20,000 meters at Shaft Zone and Mosquito Creek on Island Mountain.

The company said its program is focused on infill drilling modelled vein corridors and conducting exploration along strike and down dip of existing vein corridors to determine the depth extent of the mineralization.

Barkerville is exploring the historical Cariboo Mining District of central British Columbia.
