Centamin Expects Stronger Grades In H2
Egyptian gold miner Centamin maintained annual guidance of 490,000 to 520,000 ounces of gold production in 2019 in its interim results released today.
Gross revenue for the six month period was $292.4 million from gold sales, a 3% drop from the same period a year ago when gold sales were slightly higher.
Centamin said improved grades from the open pit will up production in the second half of the year.
The company declared an interim dividend of US$46.2 million.
Centamin said total direct financial payments in Egypt, by way of profit share and royalties, US$ 48.1 million.
