(Kitco News) - Gold prices are holding double-digit gains but are down from their daily highs in mid-morning dealings Friday. Some profit taking from the shorter-term futures traders, heading into the weekend, is featured. Gold bulls still have a good head of steam ahead of the first full week of trading in August next week. December gold was last up $13.40 at $1,445.50.
