Trump asks who is bigger enemy, Fed Chair Powell or China's Xi?

Kitco News

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Donald Trump reacted furiously on Friday after Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell spoke about the trade war with China and economic risks to the United States, asking whether his appointee to the U.S. central bank was a greater “enemy” than China’s leader Xi Jinping.

“As usual, the Fed did NOTHING! It is incredible that they can ‘speak’ without knowing or asking what I am doing, which will be announced shortly,” Trump said on Twitter. “My only question is, who is our bigger enemy, Jay Powel or Chairman Xi?”
