Kitco News

Fiore Gold's full-year gold production was 41,491 ounces, a 21% increase over the preceding year.

Today the company (TSX-V:F) announced its preliminary production results for Q4 and the full fiscal year 2019 for its Pan open pit mine in White Pine County, Nevada.

The company met its full-year guidance, 40,000-43,000 ounces.

In Q4 gold production dropped. Fiore produced 9,282 in Q4 compared to 11,685 in Q3.

"Q4 gold production was impacted by lower gold grades in the second half of the year in line with the mine plan," said the company in a statement. "Additionally, Q4 ore mining rates and placement of crushed ore on the leach pad were lower than planned as we worked to achieve consistent crusher availability and throughput."

The company said gold production in Q1 2020 will return to planned levels with recent increases in tons crushed per day.
