Kitco News

Newmont Goldcorp matched a surface explosion to the colors of the rainbow flag or LGBPTQ pride flag.

The explosion was part of the company's operations at Boddington, a gold-copper open surface mine in Western Australia. Date of the blast was not disclosed.

"Newmont Goldcorp Boddington team members were proud to create a colourful Pride themed pit blast recently!," wrote the company in a tweet about the blast. "As well as celebrating #PrideMonth, the blast signifies Newmont's ongoing commitment to inclusion & diversity."
