(Kitco News) - Horizon Minerals (ASX:HRZ) released its plans for gold production today.
The Western Australia-focused miner said its focus is developing its Boorara gold project.
"The Company’s key objective remains to develop a long-term production profile centred around the base-load Boorara gold project complemented by higher grade open pit and underground satellite deposits in close trucking distance to a centralised processing facility," said Horizon Minerals in a statement.
The company has a number of smaller projects around Boorara. An 18,000 meter drilling program was carried out last year. Results are expected to be released during the March quarter of 2020.
"An updated grade control model will then be optimised to generate an initial mining inventory across three starter pits with the aim to be mining in the June Quarter 2020 and toll milling in September Quarter 2020," said the company.
