Kitco’s award-winning precious metal app has a whopping 2 million downloads and is a coveted tool for investors, retailers, jewellers and overall business aficionados worldwide. With numerous accolades, the Kitco Gold Live! app is well-reviewed with a close to 5-star ratings on Google and Apple iTunes. Features of the app include live spot prices for precious and base metals, oil and bitcoin, alongside breaking news, daily videos, mining news, commentaries, exchange rates and charts.
Dourekas said Kitco is always developing content-rich, user-centric driven experience to keep pace with its audience, which COPA recognized in distinguishing this year’s award recipients.
"After consultation with key members of the judging panel and publishers, this year will put a stronger focus on the various channels content is published on and we will have awards for print, email, digital content, mobile apps and websites. These channels categories will allow publishers to demonstrate some of their digital wizardry and design skills," said Canadian Online Publishing Awards in announcing their award.
