(Kitco News) - London markets will be closed for a holiday on Friday. This will mean no London Bullion Market Association auctions, dealers reported. According to reports, the normal early-May holiday was moved to Friday in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe day on May 8, 1945, when Nazi Germany surrendered to Allied forces in World War II.
