Fire at Boliden's Kevitsa

(Kitco News) - On Thursday, a fire occurred in the building for primary crushing at Boliden's mine Kevitsa, located in Finnish Lappland.
No one was injured. The fire has been extinguished. The company said that the damage is extensive. As a result, production at the concentrating plant have been halted until further notice.
Despite the fire, Boliden said mining production is unaffected.
Boliden has around 6,000 employees and an annual turnover of SEK 50 billion ($5.3 billion).
