Gold price could 'change quickly' amid political/election headlines today: RBC Wealth Management
(Kitco News) Investors should be prepared to see some drastic changes in the gold price as markets digest a wave of new political and election headlines on Monday, according to RBC Wealth Management managing director George Gero. "Political headlines, elections headlines could change prices quickly and volatility is to be expected as campaigns heating up may leave gold and dollar as global havens," Gero writes. Now there are even more reasons for gold to rise back to $2,000 an ounce, and for silver to climb to $30 as the year-end approaches, adds Gero. "Traders eye Brexit news, as China-U.S. tensions continued and pandemics news keeping gold assets in holdings."
