Fury Gold Mines is unique amongst junior miners in ability to operate several projects
Fury Gold Mines is a junior exploration company with operations in Canada. Although still in its development phase, the company is able to operate several exploration projects at the same time, a rarity in the junior mining sector.
It all comes down to experience and vision, said CEO Mike Timmins.
“This is unique to us and it’s part of the vision. The vision is to be pouring gold by 2025 and if you’re going to be an operator or aspire to do that, then you need to have an ounce base, you need to be feeding it with opportunity,” Timmins said. “You can do that with one asset or you can do that with a few assets.”
Fury Gold Mines is the result of a partnership between Auryn Resources and Eastmain Resources.
“On July 29, Auryn and Eastmain announced their intention to re-organize and merge together in a new company that was going to be called Fury Gold Mines. Auryn had assets in Canada, [and] they had Peruvian assets and these Peruvian assets would be spun-off into two separate companies that are soon to come back to the market by spring this year,” Timmins said.
