Skeena expands Eskay Creek resources
(Kitco News) - Skeena Resources (TSX:SKE)(OTCQX:SKREF) today announced an updated mineral resource estimate for the Eskay Creek gold-silver project, located in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia.
According to the company's statement, an updated Measured and Indicated resources amounted to 5,271 koz of gold equivalent at 4.3 g/t grade, consisting of 3,898 koz of gold and 101,600 koz of silver. Inferred resources amounted to 298 koz of gold equivalent at 1.6 g/t grade, consisting of 231 koz of gold and 4,990 koz of silver.
Skeena said that the Measured and Indicated resources have increased by an "astounding" 186% on a tonnage weighted basis since the company's last resource report.
Skeena Resources is a Canadian mining exploration company focused on revitalizing the past-producing Eskay Creek gold-silver mine located in Tahltan Territory in the Golden Triangle of northwest British Columbia, Canada. The company released a robust Preliminary Economic Assessment in late 2019 and is currently focused on infill and exploration drilling to advance Eskay Creek to full Feasibility by the end of 2021. Additionally, Skeena continues exploration programs at the past-producing Snip gold mine.
