Endeavour Silver is 'firing on all cylinders', boosts production in Q1 2021
(Kitco News) - Endeavour Silver (TSX: EDR, NYSE: EXK) reported today that the company produced 1,048,100 silver ounces and 11,109 gold ounces in Q1 2021, for silver equivalent production of 1.9 million oz.
According to the company's statement, silver production increased 22% and gold production increased 31% compared to Q1 2020, due primarily to higher ore grades mined and processed.
The company added that silver equivalent production at each mine is on track to meet or exceed 2021 production plans: Guanacevi production on plan, while Bolanitos and El Compas production ahead of plan.
CEO Bradford Cooke commented, "It is gratifying to see the company firing on all cylinders, with the mining operations meeting or exceeding expectations and the development team advancing the Terronera project to drive the next phase of growth."
Endeavour Silver is a mid-tier precious metals mining company that owns and operates three high-grade, underground, silver-gold mines in Mexico. Endeavour is currently advancing the Terronera mine project towards a development decision and exploring its portfolio of exploration and development projects in Mexico and Chile to facilitate its goal to become a premier senior silver producer.
