Kirkland Lake trades up 5.4%
Kirkland Lake Gold (TSE:KL) traded up 5.4% to $58.15 a share in early trading today before closing lower.
IKN wrote a note on its site stating that Kirkland Lake was "in-play and about to be sold to the highest bidder." IKN wrote that the information came from "a source that has proven reliable on previous occasions."
Kitco reached out to Kirkland for comment but as of publishing had not heard back.
Kirkland Lake is a top ten gold producer, having produced 1.37 million ounces in 2020.
