The world's largest silver producing companies in 2021 - report
(Kitco News) - Kitco ranked the top 10 silver producing companies worldwide based on reported silver output in 2021.
Fresnillo is the world’s top silver producer and Mexico’s largest gold producer. Fresnillo’s full year 2021 attributable silver production of 53 Moz (including Silverstream) was unchanged compared to 2020.
With 44 Moz of payable silver produced in 2021, KGHM Polska Miedz S.A. is second largest silver producer worldwide. Production of payable silver was higher compared to 2020 (43 Moz) due to an increase in the amount of silver in concentrate produced by the company.

Glencore is third with 32 Moz of silver produced in 2021.
Newmont is fourth largest silver producing company. The company had consolidated co-product silver production of 31 Moz in 2021, which is 11% more compared to 28 Moz produced in 2020. All of the company’s 2021 silver production came from the Peñasquito polymetallic mine in Mexico.
Chile’s CODELCO is the fifth largest silver producer with 24 Moz of silver produced in 2021.
