The Taylor Mine, named after Arizona Mining CEO Don Taylor, is anticipated to be one of the world’s largest lead/zinc mines, and is set to be in production by late 2020.“We’ve got about over 100 million tons of ten and a half percent zinc equivalent,” Taylor told Kitco News on the sidelines of the Gold Stock Analyst Investor Day Conference. “The amazing thing is, it’s still open-ended.”Taylor said that from now until the slated production date in 2020, the focus will be on performing feasibility studies, as well as to begin declining into the underground mine in late Q2 or early Q3 2018.
