Why more green metal SPACS are a good thing

Earlier this month Osisko executives filed a $250 million prospectus to form Osisko Green Acquisition.
Sean Roosen will be chair and CEO of the newly-formed business, which is raising $250 million and intends to acquire one or more businesses within 18 months in the battery material sector.
Roosen said past success is creating overall momentum.
"I feel like the timing is right. It's like a block that has ten restaurants on it. Everybody does well," said Roosen, who pointed to Robert Friedland's SPAC recently doing a deal with a Singapore battery maker. (show less)
