"We listed our first commodity ETF [NewGold] in South Africa in 2004," Nedeljkovic says. "In the South African market we have about $5b of investments in ETFs...slightly more than half of the investment in commodity ETFs." The trick when launching a new product in the market is to bring products based on investor demand, he adds.
