Kitco News speaks with Chairman of Chow Sang Sang Group Vincent Chow about jewelry demand coming out of China. Asian demand has been a key topic discussed at the 2013 LBMA Conference and Chow shares his insight on the matter. "People in China basically went head over heels over gold on the dips in April and June," Chow says. "So far we have seen in the third quarter that demand has kept up." Although Chow refused to offer gold price predictions, he did say that those who have disposable income available should "park some money" into gold because of its residual value. The main industry challenge for Chow is the depleting of stock in both China and Japan following the gold rush. "It was taking a lot of time for us to get our inventory back to normal," he adds.
