Policy changes in the U.S. could push uranium mining activity higher this year, said Amir Adnani, EO of Uranium Energy Corp. and chairman of Uranium Royalty Corp.
“The president has made a pledge to miners in the United States and rejuvenating miners in the U.S. and the issue of uranium in the U.S. is also one of national security and energy security. These are, I believe, very important issues to the President and as Stephen Moore pointed out, he believes we’re going to some action and some news this year in terms of positive policy to help stimulate growth and rejuvenate the U.S. uranium mining industry,” Adnani told Kitco News on the sidelines of the Vancouver Resource Investment Conference.
