Romania sells 760.5 mln lei of Oct. 2034 bonds, 250.5 mln lei of 1-year treasury bills

Feb 16 (Reuters) - Romania sold a more than planned 760.5 million lei ($166.09 million) worth of October 2034 bonds and a less than planned 250.5 million lei ($54.71 million) of 1-year treasury bills on Thursday at an average accepted yield of 7.63% and 6.96% respectively, central bank data showed. Debt managers, who had planned to sell 500 million lei of the October 2034 paper. Romania last sold a similar bond in January at an average yield of 7.56%.


They had also planned to sell 500 million lei of the 1-year treasury bills. Romania last sold them in January at an average yield of 6.80%.
