CHICAGO, March 10 (Reuters) - ICE Canada canola futures
plunged to a six-month low on Friday, extending their losing
streak to six sessions on heavy selling by speculative funds,
traders said.
* Actively traded May canola ended Friday's session
down $14.50 at $777.80 per tonne.
* Prices bottomed out at $766.80 a tonne, the lowest on a
continuous basis for the most-active contract since Sept.
8, 2022.
* Some bargain buying pulled the contract from its low ahead
of the close of trade.
* New-crop November canola settled $7.50 lower at
$755.80.
* The May-July spread 8,601 times and the July-November
spread traded 4,386 times.
* Chicago Board of Trade May soybean futures closed
US3-3/4 cents lower at US$15.07 a bushel.
* Euronext May rapeseed futures dropped 1.3% on
Friday.
