LONDON, March 13 (Reuters) - The differential for North Sea Forties firmed slightly on Monday.

* Commodities trader Trafigura smashed its previous profit records to make around $3.5 billion in the first quarter of its current financial year, four people with knowledge of the matter told Reuters, benefiting from volatile energy prices.

* A cap on revenue and the lack of the kind of incentives offered to oil explorers are blocking the development of renewable energy in Britain, say industry officials who are pressing for changes ahead of this week's budget.

PLATTS WINDOW
* Indications are on a free-on-board (FOB) basis unless marked as cost, insurance and freight (CIF) or delivered at place (DAP).
* Forties: BP bid for a cargo at dated Brent plus 10 cents loading April 12-14.
