CHF MORTGAGE SETTLEMENTS Deputy finance minister Piotr Patkowski said that banks still have strong instruments to solve the Swiss franc problem fairly, i.e. settlements, but they are not using them to their full potential, Rzeczpospolita daily reported.


EASTER Most Poles want to cut spending on Easter - 70% have such plans, which shows the impact of inflation on households, Rzeczpospolita reported. 65% of Poles plan to spend up to 30% less.


After Russia's attack on Ukraine grain producers were counting on record profits, but more than a year since the war's started, the government has to come to the farmers' rescue, as no one wants to buy the stored grain, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily reported.
