TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) Top investor Vivendi has called on the Italian phone group's board to only examine offers for its landline network which adequately value the asset, sources close to the matter said, adding to pressure on TIM's CEO and directors.
STELLANTIS CEO Carlos Tavares on Wednesday said climate change policies should not be used to influence global investment decisions, and said the EU decision to allow sales of e-fuel cars after 2035 would not change Stellantis plans towards electrification.
(*) IVECO GROUP The Italian truck and bus maker said on Thursday it signed a letter of intent to sell its distribution and retail business in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark to Hedin Mobility Group, without giving financial details.
BUZZI UNICEM The Italian cement maker said on Wednesday it expects to maintain in 2023 the level of recurring core profits reached last year, even as economic uncertainties and the war in Ukraine weaken Italy's growth prospects. The company said it could not offer guidance on its Russian operations, from which it has cut operational involvement, but CEO Pietro Buzzi said there were no plans to close Buzzi's plant in Russia and leave the country.
(*) IPO, ILLYCAFFE The CEO of the Italian premium coffee maker, Cristina Scocchia, said in an interview with Reuters that the company aimed to expand in the United States and confirmed plans to take it public by 2026.
