WARSAW, April 6 - The following are news stories, press reports and events that may affect Poland's financial markets on Thursday. ALL TIMES GMT (Poland: GMT + 2 hours):


CENTRAL BANK Poland's Central Bank Governor Adam Glapinski will hold a press conference at 1300. On Wednesday the central bank left its main interest rate unchanged at 6.75%.


SWISS-FRANC MORTGAGES Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has warned the European Central Banks that if the European Union's top court issues a verdict on Swiss-franc mortgages that is unfavourable for banks it could severely damage Poland's financial sector, Puls Biznesu daily reported.


VELOBANK VeloBank, an institution to which a healthy part of Getin Nobel Bank was transferred, is being prepared for sale, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily reported.


COMPUTER GAMES There has been a big slowdown in the video-game industry and global giants and large studios operating in Poland are cutting jobs, Rzeczpospolita daily reported.
