WARSAW, April 14 - The following are news stories, press reports and events that may affect Poland's financial markets on Friday. ALL TIMES GMT (Poland: GMT + 2 hours):


DATA Poland's statistics office to release its March CPI and February trade data at 0800.


AGRICULTURE The most important thing now is to stop the influx of grain from Ukraine and to do away with the surplus of grain that lingers in farmers' warehouses, Polish agriculture minister Robert Telus was quoted as saying by PAP news agency. He added that he is optimistic that this problem will be solved.


CURRENT ACCOUNT The fall in commodity prices and consumer demand in February led to the first drop in the value of imports of goods to Poland in more than two years; exports are rising and the current account surplus is at its highest since at least 2004, Rzeczpospolita daily reported.


WSE The Warsaw Stock Exchange is finalizing work on a new strategy, although it is not yet known when it will be published, Parkiet daily reported, adding that the launch of a new transaction system will be postponed to November 2024.
