DATA Poland's central bank to release its March net inflation data at 1200.


UKRAINIAN FOOD Unilateral action on trade by European Union member states is unacceptable, the bloc's executive said on Sunday, after Poland and Hungary announced bans on grain and other food imports from Ukraine to protect their local agricultural sectors.


OUTLOOK Economists today are more pessimistic in assessing the outlook for the Polish economy than a quarter ago. Still, they see no room for loosening monetary policy this year, Parkiet daily reported.


EXTRA WORK The Labor Market Barometer survey shows that almost eight out of 10 Polish employees felt the effects of the deteriorating economic situation, including a sharp increase in the cost of living. To remedy this, they are increasingly looking for additional work, Rzeczpospolita daily reported.
