April 21 (Reuters) - Global ratings agency S&P Global on
Friday revised its outlook on the United Kingdom to "Stable"
from negative, citing stronger economic performance and keeping
a lid on budget deficits over the next two years.
"We expect the U.K. economy to contract modestly this year,
but we believe near-term downside economic risks have reduced,"
the agency said in a statement.
