The central bank predicted a continued fall in
inflation, saying: "In the absence of shocks, low monthly growth
rates of prices in the consumer market are expected to
continue".

MOSCOW, April 26 (Reuters) - Belarus' central bank said
on Wednesday it would reduce its main interest rate to 10%,
effective from May 2, down from its current level of 10.5%.
In a statement, the regulator said it had decided to
lower the rate further after inflation slowed to 6% in April
from 11.7% in the previous month.
