ISTANBUL, April 28 (Reuters) - Here are news, reports and events that may affect Turkish financial markets on Friday. The lira traded at 19.44 against the dollar at 0409 GMT, little changed from its close on Thursday. The main BIST 100 share index closed slightly higher at 4,789.63 points on Thursday.


GLOBAL MARKETS Asian stocks rallied on Friday as strong corporate earnings helped lift sentiment even as worries over economic weakness lingered, while investors were also waiting on a policy decision from the Bank of Japan.


ERDOGAN PROGRAM Turkey's President Tayyip Erdogan will attend the opening of a bridge in the southern province of Adana via videolink (1400 GMT)


OPPOSITION CANDIDATE The main opposition bloc's presidential candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu will hold election rallies in Giresun (1030 GMT) and Kocaeli (1400 GMT) provinces.


FINANCE MINISTER Turkey's Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati attends to an economy summit (0615 GMT)


TOURISM STATISTICS Turkey announces tourism revenues for the first quarter (0700 GMT) and the number of foreign arrivals for March period (0800 GMT).


TRADE DATA Turkish Statistics Institute will announce trade balance data for March period (0700 GMT).
