Sakhalin Energy's production director Alexander Singurov also told the newspaper that the company will halt one of its oil platforms for repairs all summer. He also said that the Molikpaq platform, Russia's first offshore oil producing platform, will also be shut. "Considering that two of three our platforms are joined together into an integrated oil chain, the PA-B activities will be synchronised with Molikpaq shutdown, which will begin in June upon the completion of interventions and will last until September," he said.
