STELLANTIS Chrysler-parent Stellantis said Wednesday it is offering voluntary exit packages to 33,500 U.S. employees as it looks to streamline operations. The offers cover 31,000 U.S. hourly workers and about 2,500 salaried workers. Stellantis did not say how many total jobs it is looking to eliminate. It is also offering some employees in Canada voluntary buyouts.
ICCREA (NOT LISTED) The Italian unlisted cooperative banking group is awaiting by the end of May offers for its insurance business which it values at up to 950 million euros ($1.05 billion) in total, sources with knowledge of the matter said on Wednesday.

(*)STMICROELECTRONICS European chipmaker reported better-than-expected first-quarter results on Thursday. The company's revenue jumped 20% year-over-year to $4.25 billion in the quarter, outperforming analysts' average estimate of $4.19 billion, according to IBES data from Refinitiv Eikon. A conference call on the results is scheduled at 0730 GMT.
(*)IREN The Italian utility has received 16 expressions of interest for the sale of 49% of its gas network, Il Sole 24 Ore daily said on Thursday, citing company chief Luca Dal Fabbro. According to the newspaper, the Australian fund Igneo, Edf Invest and Japan's Marubeni may be among the companies most interested.

(*) ENEL Italy's energy group has an unexpressed potential and "it could be worth twice as much" as its current capitalisation, Marco Mazzucchelli, the first name on the list of nominees submitted by the hedge fund Covalis for the renewal of Enel's board, told Corriere della Sera in an interview published on Thursday. The manager added that Enel should focus on its Italian and Spanish businesses.
INTESA SANPAOLO Italy's biggest bank said on Wednesday it had halved its gross exposure to Russia last year to 2.5 billion euros ($2.8 billion) of which 1.6 billion euros were loans to Russian customers.
