April 25(Reuters) - The following Spanish stocks may be affected by newspaper reports and other factors on Tuesday. Reuters has not verified the newspaper reports, and cannot vouch for their accuracy:


SANTANDER Spain's Santander on Tuesday said its net profit in the first quarter rose 1% compared to the same period of 2022 thanks to higher lending income, especially in Europe, which offset a weaker performance in Brazil and the United States. BANKINTER Spain's fifth largest lender by market value Bankinter said on Monday it placed an issue of 'preferred' senior debt securities for 500 million euros ($552.05 million). ENAGAS ELECNOR Spanish gas grid operator Enagas said on Tuesday its net profit fell 21% in the first quarter, hit by lower revenue from its regulated business in Spain. Separately, Enagas and Elecnor revealed they closed the sale of Gasoducto de Morelos in Mexico. TECNICAS REUNIDAS Spanish oil company Cepsa picked Tecnicas Reunidas to build a biofuel plant, an investment worth 1 billion euros ($1.10 billion), Spanish newspaper Cinco Dias said on Tuesday.
