UPDATE 1-UK Stocks-Factors to watch on April 26

(Adds news items, Updates futures) April 26 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 index is seen opening lower on Wednesday, with futures down 0.25%.


* GSK: GSK beat expectations for its first-quarter revenue and profit, helped by sales of its blockbuster shingles vaccine Shingrix.
* Reckitt Benckiser: Reckitt Benckiser named company insider Kris Licht as its CEO designate to succeed Nicandro Durante and said he will take up the role by the end of the year following a transition period.
* Standard Chartered: Standard Chartered said first-quarter pretax profit jumped 21%, beating expectations, as rising interest rates buoyed cash management income and retail product sales for the emerging
* Heathrow: Britain's Heathrow Airport said it recorded 16.9 million passengers in the first three months of the year, up 74% on last year's pandemic-affected level, but it posted a 139 million pound ($173 million) adjusted loss.
* Persimmon: British housebuilder Persimmon Plc said on Wednesday it expects to build homes at the top end of its annual guidance range, as an improved quarterly sales rate partly allayed concerns that a sector slowdown could slip into the next year.
* MAN GROUP: Hedge fund Man Group reported more than $1 billion of net flows into its funds in the first quarter and a small increase in the value of its assets, over a period that included global banking market turmoil in March.
* OIL: Oil rose after plunging more than 2% in the previous session as reports of falling U.S. crude oil and fuel inventories refocused investors on robust demand in the world's top oil consumer.
* GOLD: Gold prices moved in a tight range with recessionary fears lending some support to the safe-haven asset.
